Thread: Kelvanra Meets Art Deco

    Default Kelvanra Meets Art Deco

This map is not 100% finished - as you can see, it has only a little cluster of names attached to it so far. But since my plan is to keep adding more names as the worldbuilding progresses, realistically speaking it will be a very long time before the map is actually done in that sense. Overall the look is pretty close to being done, and the only thing really missing are more cities and landmarks, so I decided to share this in the meantime.

Inspired by art deco designs, this is another stab at the isle of Kelvanra. The elevation is my heavily modified take on the Saderan style. I also created a large chunk of the design elements in Affinity Designer, so overall this features a lot more vector work than usual. Hope you like it!

Great color palette. I love the subtle gold fade on the text.

Very subtle, the line is very delicate, it's an extremely elegant and visually effective map.

Great work! It's incredible how much elegance adds the background pattern to the overall map composition.

Cheers, everyone! Glad you like it. I had so much fun working on the gold details.
