Don't mind me, I'm just watching and taking notes .
So good to see you working on a challenge map again.

    Golly! Thanks.

Your map is really shaping up. The tones and textures remind me of some 1940's survey maps, I've seen.

    It's slow, but steady enough.

It will look a certain way for a while as I develop parts of it, then more color will come in and will likely look reasonably different.
I usually start with a more subdued style as it's easier on the eyes for a while.

A bit more progress. I'm not sure how dark the line work will be in the end. it's pretty light atm.
It's gonna be an awful large amount of trees. Already cringing from future hand pain.
The forest outline is just a sketch placeholder.

So happy to see you here again... and so sad to hear that you've had a difficult time. I hope that the pleasure of drawing will soon return and that you'll be able to enchant us again with your wonders.
Thank you for sharing your work here, it's always fascinating to see how you work!
I'm really looking forward to seeing how this reboot turns out... The difference in style already promises to be impressive! Keep up the good work!

    Thanks Joel
I've never been good with time management, which is part of where some of my troubles come from.
I'm trying to improve on that.

Here's the current progress. I'll probably work more on in the evenings this week.
I got an ok amount done this weekend, but not nearly as much as I had hoped.
Still, it feels good to make progress on it.
