Doctorate thesis about fantasy maps - finished!
Hello, honorable cartographers!
I recently finished my doctoral thesis on fictional maps in Brazil and the US, based on experiences I had with Brazilian and international artists, as well as research at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
During the research, I asked Guild members to participate by answering a questionnaire that was quite useful - about techniques, references, and visual styles.
The research was approved and now I have a doctorate!
The text was published in Portuguese (after all, I am Brazilian), but you can translate it using your favorite app. I will soon publish something in English, and I will share it here with you.
