They're pretty impressive pictures. The streets in some of the shots (mainly the shots of the city/financial sector) remind me of lava flows. I also think of Doctor Who when I see the London Eye and the Gherkin.

Fantastic shots. To get that sort of pinsharp clarity in low light and being in the air at the same time is pretty amazing.

somewhere on there it said they were done using a helicopter with a stabilized mount - a gyro kind of thing I guess. To get such even trails from the car lights the exposures must have been very long indeed.
