    I really really love that style.

    How did you do the style? The colors and different regions mesh well together and seem very "real". I'd like to be able to do that!

    The techniques i used are a bit of my own, but most of it i learned by experimenting with Ascensions tutorials. He has a great tutu on a continent and international borders. The mountains i made using pasis's technique

    If they are compatible to Photoshop I'll look them up.

    I'm mostly interested in how you did the desert, as large parts of my current map project are islands with sandy beaches and deserts.

    Any good pointers?
