I think you have a great talent when it comes to ripping google of images and then assemble them in to a new map. The only thing I miss is a better (ripped) texture for the ocean. Good job.
When I first started DM'ing, I needed a world map. Stuck with no talent, I ripped everything off Google Maps and worked on it in Photoshop.
This is not WIP; this is old amateur finished work. I don't remember exact details, but see if you can find what world region I ripped everything from!

Google Earth annoys me a bit because when you zoom in, the images are composited in strips each of which is coloured slightly differently.
Yeah, I hate that varying color thing...so I use the website FlashEarth which has different overlay styles (none of which are Google).
