    Map Halfdan's Hold

Halfdan leads a group of bandits known locally as Halfdan's Hooligans. Originally petty thieves and cutthroats, the Hooligans gained their notoriety when one of their raids went terribly wrong, resulting in the murder of Lord Sendath's only son. To escape Lord Sendath's wrath, Halfdan led his men to a hidden tomb in the Ellan Hills. The Hooligans quickly cleared out the tomb and fortified the entrance, and carved a secret tunnel from the rear chamber to behind a statue near the entrance, so that they are able to surround any intruders.

I threw this map together while trying a stair symbol catalogue I created and was experimenting with in Dungeon Designer 3. I finished off the map using Serif PhotoPlus.

Looks great. One thing, maybe nix the emboss on that text and replace it with a big fat black or brown stroke. Cool beans tho and we need more good stuff like this.
If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.

Thanks. I like small maps too. The map wasn't designed for anything in particular, but I think it would make a good encounter area or side trek for an ongoing campaign.

Yeah, I agree. I really did throw this together just to see how my stair symbol looked on a map, and didn't give any thought to the text. I think I'll adjust it when I get home so it is complete in case anyone wants to use it.

    Thanks again, guys.
