    Map TestWorld ^^

    Hello, here is my first map, just a little test using different tutorials.
    Viewing the result, I have a lot of work to improve my technics.

    It is, indeed, the journey which makes us better mappers as well as better artists. I don't think that you're all that far off, though. I could give you some ideas about do this or that but it looks like you're looking for your own style so I don't want to corrupt that. I do like the desert and I think your mountains are pretty close.

    I rather like the texture you decided on for the desert. It tricks my eye into seeing wind swept sand from high up. Your mountain is a good start, keep playing with it sculpting the shape into ranges. Good Start.
