Post Moin is the right way to say hello over here

Moin or hello to you all.

So, what's the best to begin with.

Maybe you already noticed, I'm not a native english speaker. My native tounge is rather a low german influenced high german. That's the origin of "moin" by the way.

I've been drawing maps of fictional realms I've invented since my mid-teens. Sometimes I've drawn more, sometimes I've almost forgot about my hobby. But then I started studying geology and you know, you have to work a lot with maps of all kinds in geology. So the spark ignited again.
And by chance I found out about this forum yesterday.

So here I am, hoping for a good time and nice discussions.

    Welcome, Yoscha,

I'm not a native English speaker either - I'm Afrikaans, from South Africa - but I'm sure you'll fit right in.

    Well, well, servus und willkommen...

My biggest problem here is that my GIMP is in German and all tutorials are in english... but you get used to it after a while

    Done .

    And @languages:
    (High) German: native
    English: good
    Spanish: mediocre
    Dutch: mediocre
    Lower German: basics
French: I'm able to read it

So I guess we'll probably find a way to communicate .
