    Map Sea Based Campaign Map

My first post here, just discovered the site.

    Here's a map I made for the current campaign we're playing. (http://luquin.teknohippy.net)

A quick rundown of the process.

    1. First I drew some circles in Illustrator to represent the islands and finalise the positioning.

    2. This illustrator file then loaded into AutoRealm to fractalise the outlines.

    3. Back into illustrator to tweak, remove outlines, create a solid black fill.

    4. Copied and pasted into photoshop where everything else was done with a combination of techniques from various tutorials.

A very functional, but still attractive map. Any way we could get you to upload a higher-quality version?

    Thank you.

It's intended as a player handout.

I've got 3508x2480px maximum, what size would you recommend attaching?

    First off... Welcome Aboard!

Secondly... ditto everything msa said - the subtle wrinkling of the background is quite nice.

Thirdly... since you uploaded a map in your very first post, have some 'rep' *bonk*

No specific recommendation. The map I'm currently working on in the lite challenge section is an ~1800x1800 jpeg and is well under the size limit for the site. I'd really just like to be able to read the text and see the detail around the coasts a little more clearly.

I found a screen sized copy that's quite a bit bigger. Not got the psd here at work.

Real nice woodcut ocean ripples, text is clear, lines are clean...good stuff. A lil on the rusty color side but I can live with that...nice job and welcome to the guild.
