Ah yes, my Thrilling Adventures site back when I was flirting with the d20 system. I enjoyed the Pulp Adventures game but the conversion to d20 Modern drained my enthusiasm for the game. I still get the odd email about the Venusian Space Vixens.

I have a bunch of RPG pages here & there. I really should collect them into one location. My latest RPG Page is a rules light Zombie RPG called Zombie Squad! which I'm compiling into a free PDF.

Thanks for the well wishes. I had an appointment with my Diabetes Specialist today and he was very pleased with my blood work results (my hemoglobin count was in the non-diabetic range!). We are both optimistic about getting my neuropathy under control. It's a day-by-day battle but one I'm on top of.

I agree. It lost something in "translation". d20 Past didn't help much either. All of which is an odd thing, as I really loved d20 Modern (and to a slightly lesser extent, d20 Future). Adamant Entertainment's Thrilling Tales for d20 Modern revived my interest in Pulp gaming. Lately, however, I've been all about True20 (and Microlite20 when I want to get my old school on). At least conversions are relatively easy between d20 Fantasy/d20 Modern and True20.

Real life has been a real pain in the arse lately so I've been away. While away I haven't done any real mapping since I was busy doing other stuff to make ends meet. To add to the hassle, my wife has been unwell (my own health has its ups & downs). She's recovering and on the mend but she's still in the hospital. Over the last couple of months, I just didn't have the inspiration or energy to accomplish anything creative (mapping or otherwise). I'm still not up to full speed yet but I hope to get some work done. I just wanted to stop by and say hi.

I've noticed that it's been "that kind of summer" for a lot of folks here. Hope things turn out better for you in the fall big T.

Thanks guys. It's been a yin-yang type of summer. Just when we thought we were getting ahead, something would happen to make things complicated. It hasn't been all bad but the bad stuff does tend to be more stressful (that's just the nature of the beast).
