Very pretty! Looks like a great place for a party.
Considering the organic curved walls (and the angles of the straight ones) I might have gone with a hex grid instead of a square grid.
Here's my river-castle map for Open Design's "Wrath of the River King." What could be more fun that water!!

Venus Public Transit, Map Of Ceres, Jack Vance's Ports Of Call & Lurulu ... why do I only have 3 maps here?

Lovely work indeed! A really nice clean graphical feel to it.
Very nice, great colors.

Thanks! My first cut used far more tropical colors, with rich teals, greens, and hints of yellow in the waters and golden light on the sands. But Wolfgang said the setting featured northern temperate lands where frosts were common and winters long. I scrolled back the warms but chose not to swing all the way over to dark, thunderous, and ominous. But that could have been cool! Next river castle, I guess.
EDIT: Here's one of the early drafts.
