Hi,
Reading a few of Torstan's tutorials about maps in GIMP, you mention that thanks to a tip, you use the ink tool, rather than the pen tool for the scetch layers...
I just wondered, why?
Is it something that is affected by using a tablet and the pressure sensitivity?
Anyway, just wondered

And following up on that, I highly recommend that you pick up a cheap tablet. A Wacom Bamboo (I'd go for the smallest one you can - fits in a laptop case and means you don't wear your arm out drawing) or a second hand graphire. They're around £75 on Amazon and the Graphire's should be quite a bit cheaper on e-bay (they were the previous version of the Bamboo). There's not a lot to go wrong with a tablet, so you should be okay with the second hand market.
Thanks for the tip!
I am really tempted, but I need to find a job first, before I go out buying toys!
I have a bamboo myself, and it works beautifully... besides losing my pen once.. i've had no problems with it at all!
