I'm speechless!
Your work is amazing. So much details everywhere.
And I'm still looking for Wally
Sorry can't find him
(That's really ironic considering I can usually see all kinds of accidental animals in other people's maps )
This is just gorgeous work, Azelor

Definitely would not have seen wally unless you told me he was in there. Hes been to boot camp I think - and I need to raise my game with the wally thing. You know that you have really started a whole new level of wally hiding this time.
The linework on the hill is absolutely amazing! I'm still searching for Wally...
*must find him...*
EDIT: Smaller than I thought, but found him!!

I give up, I can't find him. On the other hand, I've now had a very close look at the map and all I can say about it is WOW! The amount of detail is truly inspiring. Kudos for that!
Thanks for all the comments! It's great to see I can inspire other people as I have been (and still are) inspired by the folks here.
I have finally completed the map. Unless someone spots something terrible, I will consider it finished.
It is my first city map ever. I did one on pen and paper for dnd but it was 10 years ago or so.
A lot of the stuff was new to me.
The first version is for Redrobes. It has no labels/legend.

This is the version with all the labels

It took a lot of time of time to finish but I got to improve my skills and now I have plenty of good material I can reuse on a future map .
LOL! I see him now
For some reason I was looking for something a lot smaller, and totally scanned right over the top of him without noticing!
Its a gorgeous map, Azelor, but I'm waiting for you to put it in Finished Maps before I rep...
Fear not - I have solved the riddle of why it happens (well I have for me anyway). It happens where there are two similarly sized circles, be they craters or lakes or something else, and my brain very unhelpfully chirps up with "Eyes! I see eyes!", and the facial features just suddenly appear. So all I have to do now when I glimpse two circles in a map is consciously switch off the pattern recognition thing, and I'm ok then
