It's all good. Thanks for the update. I'm in my mental chewing phase now.

Of course all these climate experts have me wondering if I need to be worried since I'm not sure where I'm at environmentally.

Edit: not to make problems but if I'm reading my blue lines right I've got river issues....you want me to make those work based on meteor impact or something? Also, I'm now seeing the lined out area as a lake...groovy, fishing folk.

Hey Rob - the original land - the main center body - was done in FT. The rest was done by me, by hand.
So #27 and on were hand drawn - so no FT file for that. Sorry.

We had some discussion on climate and such on page 15 - you might enjoy that bit
Do as thou wilt... just have fun with it.

Edit - not seeing the issue with rivers.

J.Edward you are doing outstanding. This has got to be a lot of extra work.

I see the lake exits to the Sea through the middle of my country but there are rivers running into that river against the flow which is why I had a question, however I have a way to handle this so I think I'm good.

    Thanks again!

Yeah, some rivers were coming from mountain ranges at a weird angle.
All of the rivers and ranges are mostly just guidelines really. I mean, they form country boundaries along rivers, so those are a bit more important, but mostly flexible.

Is there going to be a climate map with biomes, temperatures, currents, winds and rain shadows and all that stuff to go on or should we just kinda wing it and hope it turns out?

    In a word - no.
    Wing it.

Or - ask Robbie - maybe he would like to plan out all of that stuff... in his spare time.. Robbie?

There seems to be a bit of confusion. I was surprised to see Ilanthar describing his country as cold, since I was considering putting lions and giraffes all over the place. Now, they are all going to die due to this misunderstanding. Of course, I prefer this than having to actually draw them...

I was doing some size comparisons to Earth while planning mine, and it seems that based on the latitudes Ilanthar's country stretches from the latitude of the southern Arabian Peninsula in the south to Sweden in the north, whereas yours is from around Kenya to Turkey, so it's conceivable that his country could get very cold and yours still have lions and giraffes.

I don't really have much to add to climate either and would prefer for each mapper to justify their own climates. That's one of the things that will make this fun. There's no real set of limitations because there's no vote, no winner. Just have fun. Looks like it's working too!
