    I also agree with IG

Though for my part I would say its more the lack of light/dark contrast between the wall and the floor. I notice that you don't usually do shadows on your maps (though you are missing out on the thrill of seeing it all 'pop' right in front of your eyes, but that's your choice), so another way of separating the wall from the floor is to make one or the other of them a lot paler or darker than the other. My personal opinion would be that the green would look pretty horrible if you just added a bucket of white, but you could make the wall quite a lot paler - call it limestone

If you want to give shading a try you could give the wall layer a black glow? It doesn't have to be huge. You would be surprised by how little you would need just to make it go 'pop' and the floor drop away to a lower level than the tops of the walls.

EDIT: Oops I take that back! My bad - I forgot Gwydnker, where you did use shadows to make the buildings pop from the background. You wouldn't have to make anything a different colour if you just did the same to the walls in this map as you did to the houses in Gwydnker (minus the bevel, of course)

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I tend to leave drop shadows and things like that till last but they certainly sound like a good idea here, something I hadn't considered.

I've started adding in furniture and stuff to the map now. Here is where things have gotten to.

I've added some drop shadows to the walls and doors now but I'm not sure if they are big enough or not. I also added a few more bits and bobs here and there as well as a fire pit from the free Venatus Maps forest assets pack as I was struggling to make make one myself.

Very nice, clear colors and I think the drop shadows work well
