    Amazing!

I really hope people can even envision a fraction of the amount of work you put into this map. City maps are a ton of work and this even more so. Well done, and congrats on landing such a cool opportunity.

Damn... This looks like an Atlas Award, a Cartographer's Choice and a Christmast Miracle all wrapped together. Incredible in every single detail. Please take my rep, my admiration, my hat... everything.

Edit : Nooooo... I can't rep you already... Why ! Whyyy !! But wait, I'll be back. I'll be back soon.

Damn you, John Stevenson, for making me click on the dtrpg like way too often. Because of you, I'm a man on the verge of acquiring another RPG book I'll never play with

That's just one grandiose piece of work there, J.E.! I can't imagine how many hours you had to put into this piece...!

That could just be me, and maybe the different colors signify different type of buildings?

Even so, the linework and sheer amount of detail are, yet again, out of this world.
    Thanks Kell (:
I usually go with a more monochrome roof color, but decided to vary it.

I think we all are used to your increadible art skills.... what i would like to emphasize here is your outstanding design mind. In my opinion, thinking about city layout, buildings clusters, building shapes, how to arrange them.... this is really hard and time consuming part (at least for me). So hats off.
    Thanks Voolf (:
Cities can be real beasts to work on, no question.
This one definitely takes the cake.

I have a friend who is really into maps & old school D&D. At our game Saturday night he commented on how much he loved the Baldur's Gate game. You had just recently posted the Baldur's Gate regional map so I showed it to him. He was blown away by it! He commented how he would love to see a close up map of the city and today you drop the perfect map on us. I can't wait to see his reaction when he sees this masterpiece!
    hehehe, awesome. Thanks Bogie
Let me know how he reacted.
I'll post some close-ups after these comments.

EDIT: ...and I can't rep you...

    Thanks Arsheesh (:
hehe, yeah, this one was a monster to complete.
It took somewhere over 250 hours crammed into a month.
So some really long days in there.

City maps are definitely some of the most demanding.

The city was over 250 hours.
It was a monster, no question.
There was so much research required too just to make sure things were in the right place.
There isn't a really clear definitive map of BG. Well, until now, that is.
