Indeed - please keep mapping. Your results on this one hint that you'll do well even with more mundane starting points. Not to mention which your creativity is inspiring <staring at arm, thinking "Freckle Archipelago"...>
Really, really clever. Bravo! Kind of creepy maybe, but very imaginative...would be a great movie intro to some story in a magical land...zooming into the eye, to the map, to a spot on the map, etc.
