Hopefully I can make you proud, John! I'm doing it all with a mouse, so what I'll probably do is draw all the mountains I need for west-east chains that follow the curvature, and then make brushes out of them so I can rotate 'em for the more vertical chains. I dunno, we'll see. It'll be pretty subtle though, no massive sky-piercers. Well, one: where the chained god sleeps...

Just have to find time to work on it! Too damned tired for it during the week, and I've got D&D (woo hoo!) most of the day on Sundays, so Saturday is the only real day I can devote to it.
I've been experimenting with a hand-drawn Thurian-style, but it's pretty atrocious. So if that doesn't pan out (and I don't think it will), this is a base layer for a different version:

Not a whole lot done, but it's moving in a direction I'm happy with.
Put in a bunch of rivers, the Great Wall, and a runic no-go zone where the Father of Heaven is chained, along with some ley lines.

I like the gritty look, D! And the token Diablo text has always been a favorite of mine. This is turning out amazing already! More, please!
