    Wip

Not much to do at the moment as I'm waiting for the labels and the desired layout for roads, so I played around with a preliminary layer of clouds and shadows. I'll have to refine that, and I'll have to work on the ocean layer to make it become a bit more lively, too, so for now it's just an interesting experiment.

By the way, if any of you have some ideas as to how I can give those relatively empty spots of land a bit more contours, I'm all ears!

I've missed your last couple of updates, but this is so much nicer than when I last checked in. The mountains look so much better and I love your volcano!

    It's coming together beautifully.

    Thank you!

I wish I could upload a larger version, but the Guild doesn't allow for files much larger than this. With that in mind, here's the next update, at 50% resolution. Most of the small additions I did will, at best, be barely visible, like the sign posts or the bridges (most likely the rain and the thunderstorms as well ), but some changes ought still to be visible.

Very nice colors, I like how you handle the changes and diversity of lands. The crops and cities are fine but look a bit weird on the lands. I think they are a bit too sharp/geometric compared to your smooth lands.

Yes, I see what you mean. Many of the settlements don't seem to mingle naturally with the terrain. I suppose that's the downside to working with two programs simultaneously (I did the city depictions primarily in Illustrator).
