Beautiful work Warlin! Cliffs, mountains are excellent and your forest style impressive. I would add a few lines to your hills to match more the detailed mountains. And I'm still waiting for that aqueduct !
>.< that grid is ingenious. and the map is looking great man. inspires me to wanna make an isometric map
Thanks all for the comments and the support. It was difficult to motive me during the holydays, but i'm back to the shadings, waiting the inspiration for the coloring. I'm wondering about including draws of the aqueduc and the dam in the back of the map...
Then, here is the update.
Hello! An update of my work in progress. I'm looking for a light coloration of my map to apply at the end of the process an old texture.
Here's my trouble : i do not know how to vary the colors while ensuring a continuous and more subtle transition between them. Help is needed.
As usual, all comments are welcome.
This is looking really good Warlin.
I don't quite understand what you're asking though so I can't help there.
Maybe Max or another, who natively speaks French, can answer if you post your question in French.
It looks like you had lighter highlights in your previous update image but they don't seem to be there in this image...
I think those earlier highlights looked good.

My English is bad and my translator is even more! I want that the colors seem less monotonous and that the transition is less clear-cut... East - this more understandable? (With my translator) Is-this more understandable ?
use a very large brush size and set the opacity way down to 6%-10% and apply the color to build up the colors slowly. You can also use the SMUG tool in Photoshop to PUSH the color around, hope this helps.
Thanks. I'll try this.
