very nice, and lovely watercolor effect too
Okay, yesterday's map here we go:
The Kingdom of Gabrya Uncoloured.jpg
Done on 12"x9" 140lb paper (Mouse's favourite ) with a 0.5mm 4B pencil for anyone who wanted to know.
I also then decided to give it a quick watercolour on PS, which I think turned out pretty well and was surprisingly quick and easy to do.

Out of curiosity, if this is a hand drawn map, how do you manage to have such great straight lines ?
Um, well, for the border I used a ruler. I've a got a T-Square ruler which you can slide nicely along, a bit like on a drafting table. I then just line it up and jutter the pencil a bit along the rule to get a the nice jaggedy but still neat look. Elsewhere, it's all freehand.
Anywho, onto today's map. Another one done by hand, this time using ink instead of pencil. Coloured once again in a super quick watercoloury style and labelled on Photoshop.

And here's the uncoloured version just for reference:

I like that one Greg
The soft tones are sweet.
You are going to have a very nice collection when this is done.
Maybe bind them up and sell a little book
I am look forward to what you will do.
Edit - drats. must spread rep. I will return.

Looks good, Greg.
I'm still debating whether I should join Mapvember 2017 since I have a tendency of not finishing personal projects.

Thanks John, and a little book is a nice idea. Though I reckon your Inktober pieces would make a far nicer one!
OldRed, you should totally join. I've already actually finished more maps in three days than I sometimes finish in a month! Plus it's great practice and nice as John said to have the little collection at the end.
Looks great Gregory! I like the subtle colors you used (:
