"The forest to the right was cut down to make way for a flanking position. Once the army was half way across the ford, both halves can be attacked at once, causing panic!"
Word spread of the ambush, and the Luthbards joined the ambush. They brought with them their extra special mead for the occasion, and put up a great mead tent!!
Something was in that mead...
The army marched past at exactly 6:36am. The ambusher's were so drunk / hung over that they either didn't notice or couldn't be bothered to move. Enemy scouts found them, and a few scraps broke out, but the armies never engaged. Now the people at the camp have taking to raiding nearby villages to quench their thirst for battle. Each clan fights eachother for control of the mead tent, the horses escaped when the gate was left open, and people keep falling down the hill and injuring themselves on tree stumps. The king who had planned the ambush so perfectly was found sleeping naked in a tree on the morning of the planned ambush."
Josiah, Gif idea is awesome, but I don't know how to make them!! Definitely one for the future.
I have to admit I didn't get to spend as much time in the last week on this as I would have liked. I've only made some small changes since the last post. I've lightened the whole thing up a bit, when I saw it on another screen I could barely make it out it was so dark!
I decided against naming things, I think river names etc would look a bit out of place.
This will be my final entry as I won't be able to do any more over the weekend. Enjoy!
Cheers,
Amazing Map!
