February 2016 Challenge: Beyond Redemption

I'm pulling out of this one, I think. Pretty much lost all enthusiasm for mapping for a while. Maybe I'll change my mind before the end of the month; if not, meh.

That's a shame Diamond, from the work I've seen of yours in the past, it's been nothing but first class. I often find it's easy to lose motivation with my artistic endeavours though and get into those lulls where I wonder why I do what I do, but eventually I find something that kicks me off again and reminds me of why I loved it so much in the first place!

I'm sure you'll find that something to give you that rush again, but until then I hope you still continue to offer your good advice and wisdom to junior mappers like myself and the rest of the guild, and who knows, you might just find that spark again.

I was so happy you joined the challange. You do magic stuff! Magic! Hope you get back! I feel the same sometimes. Especially after some really time consuning maps.

Take the time you need then, nothing is better for enthusiasm than a break! I hope you'll find the motivation to finish this, even if the challenge has ended by then, it was a great start.

Got a little bit more done on this. Since the setting is (at least linguistically) heavily German-inspired, I figured this was a good font. The mountains are brushes I made based on a couple of J. Blaeu maps, and the cities are courtesy of rpgmapmaker. If I had a bit more time and enthusiasm I'd draw both things myself, but it is what it is.
