Wow! Another awesome piece, Illanthar. I love the forests, they really work for me in this map. I hope to see many more detail-maps from this world! If i can, I'll rep. you.

Although I hope the statue is carrying an umbrella somewhere....
It's not a pigeon, but yeah, the dangerous life of a statue...

love the strikethrough to represent ruins
A last minute idea ! And no worries about the rep.

The border adds a whole new dimension to the map though.
Well, it's a try to give a sense of the culture & mood of the region.

There's a real coherence between the two maps, the global one and the local : the border style but also the geographical elements. This gives the whole a really friendly personal touch. Beautiful work. Repped of i can.

    Thanks a lot Warlin!

I wanted to keep a coherence and do some tests in the same time.

Your maps are always a great source of inspiration. Great work! Usually, I'm not a big fan of those kinds of mountains, however, the way they fit with everything else in the map makes them superb.

For me this is one of your best.

I'm pretty sure I'll do other regional maps of this world in 2016 .

For me this is one of your best.
In the field of fantasy, you're probably right .

    Great fantasy map!
Nice colours, and I like how you solved the map scale issue: dots to mark journey-days.
