Looks good, Fabio. A couple of things to mention:

--in the description of Map 2, you wrote ndian instead of Indian
--did you change New South Wales to New England on purpose, or is that a mistake?
--this is a really minor issue, but just thought I'd mention it: in some places, where a label crosses a border, it is possible to see the change in colour on the text, as well. Examples: Shellborough (map 4), Kimberley (map 3), Port Augusta (map 3)
--I know that historic accuracy isn't the point with alternate history, so treat this as just a bit of trivia: Canberra in the 1960s was still being constructed, and at that stage, was little more than 'six suburbs in search of a city' (as the local disparaging phrase went. Also, I'm not surprised the WRA nuked us; everyone hates Canberra!
--also, what happened to Sydney? Just askin' out of curiosity.

Again, great job on this. And feel free to ignore my nitpicking over irrelevant real-history details.

    THW

@ Sapiento: thanks. Typo corrected! And also, I take this opportunity to add that one of my sources of inspiration for my job is this map of yours.

    @ Ilanthar: thanks!

@ TheHoarseWhisperes: Thanks; 1. I corrected the typo; 2. I changed New South Wales to New England on purpose but without thinking too much; just to give an “alternate flavour”. 3. The label issue is a layer order issue, it should be corrected now. 4. I didn’t know about Canberra: my fault, as I had no time to research properly. We can assume that in this timeline Canberra has been built earlier and faster…. 5. Well Sidney should have been there, but somewhere when I was creating the first steps of the map I panicked as I thought I had no time to finish my job and many cities I would have included have been left out. Now we can only assume that in this timeline Sidney is not as important as a city.
And, I was thinking about a real backstory or a detailed timeline but I lacked the time (and you also have to consider that, even if I have the ideas in my mind, writing everything in a decent English, for me, is really time consuming).
Anyway, as some bonus information: I had in mind a world that is far worse than ours; while there’s a socialist block totally independent from Soviet Union (think as if Yugoslavian third way that has spread all over the world) that is a little bit less authoritarian but still not real democratic, the capitalistic block is far more authoritarian: you have economic freedom but not so much civil rights, and militarism is rampant. But I really didn’t think about a point of divergence and about a myriad of things that should make the scenario really consistent.
Also some curiosities: “Leonia” is named after Leon Trotsky; Luxemburg after Rosa Luxemburg.

    Worker's Republic of California.

This turned out nicely; maybe it's just my OCD and/or love of alignment, but have you considered a simple outer border to enclose the whole thing? Maybe just a couple lines?

Delightful sequence, Fabio! The Indian and RDA occupation zone colors are close enough to cause me a moment of confusion. Given the sequence of actions that you show, it is not hard to figure out, but a tiny bit more contrast would be useful. I do like the desaturated palette - it looks good!

I love a good alternate history scenario..... your back story makes this one fairly plausible.
