This has come out really well snodsy.
You've dealt with the elevations well and there are a lot of nice crops growing in there.
    Great job on this.

    Wip Petromka - Dalmatia

Second City in Dalmatia (cartographers guild anniversary country #12) - Petromka - this city is on the western coast and is the main trading/shipping port for Dalmatia. Trying to keep the look and feel of Kutina so these serve as a series of cities. All top down drawings. Comments welcome.

You put alot of work into this, the elevations looks fantastic. I can't help but notice how well formed the streets are.
The parts of the city thats close to water got long straight streets, this is quite historically accurate cause you can defend the city from water quite easy with cannonfire or other range weapons.
I get the feeling that the middle part of the city is slums or small housings and was built by the inhabitants.
I don't know if you did this on purpose but i assume you did, and i like that.

    Great Job Regards Aztegio.

Looks great, Snodsy. I love those cliffs and I really like the mix of grid-like streets mixed with more random developments. It all works together beautifully and feels very realistic. Will rep if I can.

Also, 10/10 for continuing to develop your GuildWorld map!

Thanks Chick & Aztegio; yeah I do spend time thinking about the development of each area, the initial fishing village up the river has houses out over the water as well as right on the shoreline and docks. The heavy trading port has a dirtier feel (hopefully) and the tourist area has pools nearby - (time period advances?) Basically just drawing and playing as I develop. There are smaller slums, which I'll try to add more atmosphere to it and larger homes where overlooks would command higher price homes. Glad you like it, I do have the next city in mind - a military port city a little north of this one (Dugo Selo & Omis).

Another nice one Snodsy, i love the layout and the boats! Is there a road & bridge further up the river that connects the old city and the harbor? Or it's only connected with the ferry?
    Just curious .

Thanks Ilanthar, I'll add that right around the area where the tail of the fish is currently. Josiah, about 20 hours so far on Petromka, not sure if that's fast or not?

Okay, maybe not as fast as I thought. I guess you get to work on it more than me maybe?
