Oh yeah, what a wonderful map! You can really be proud of your work. The Border is excellent and i really like the subtle colours. I remember that you posted some snippets of it in another thread before, but wow, the whole thing looks really stunning, even in low-res. It's nice to imagine that generations of players will see this great depiction as "their" Aventurien... I bet your lovely artwork will make it easier for a bunch of people to make the transition to the 5th edition of DSA

*screams in shock and awe at the detail*

One thing, though. I cannot read a single bit of text on the map!
EDIT: Oh, Sarithius said the same. Thank you for the list

Visually, the piece merits all the praise it's getting in such a short time. But, for me, personally, I think the biggest merit of your map - and where it goes futher and beyond being a drawing - is the effort you apparently did to draw it from a "cartographer of the time" perspective, purposedly adding errors, a skewed view of the world and technical limitations.
That what makes it stand out, and you deserve all the rep I can give for that!

    Cheers!

@Pixie: Thanks, this is exactly why I wrote all this info. Most of you can't know about this world since this is a mostly German RPG, running for over 30 years now. I played in this world very long (since my childhood, actually) - it was kind of important this gets the right 'feel' =)

@Chashio: Thanks, I hope you have nice little surprises finding all the stuff in there =)
