I don't know, don't check for a few days and then BOOM! Looking lovely already Diamond, particularly liking the streaks of gold glistening throughout.

Added more rivers, some jungle-y bits, more names. I'm very enthused about this, which is key to me finishing a task.

looking better and better... one thing I wonder about - the fold in the middle of the map. It seems a little off to me since its framed - however, maybe you have a story behind it

It's a heavily modified version of Ascension's 'Swiss Atlas' tutorial.

No, you're right; it's a part of the grungy parchment overlay I used. I'll do some fiddling and remove it/make it less noticeable.

Ah it's PS and it doesn't work in GIMP. I'll have to faff about a bit I think.

Yeah, I'd be lost trying to translate PS to GIMP-ese. I've never used GIMP; I know it's a PS clone and a lot of the stuff is identical, with different names, but I'm not your guy when it comes to tutorial translating...

Some of the things work and I'm trying some stuff from other tutorials. I'm sort of getting almost the results I'm after. I'll keep persevering.
