But hey! You could try to go on with the small détails after the race! Would like to see what you had in mind.
    Well, I guess I could .

    Thanks Fol2dol!

Just a small update. I hope to finish the White Lady Island (or the Notre Dame Island, originally) quite soon.

OK, except for some boats and details, I guess the White Lady Island is done.
I'm working at x3 in size and I'm still wondering if I should go for a bigger scale and a less expanded view...

Next, the heart of the town with the Island of the City.

    It's looking fantastic!

You could maybe create a cropped version for the challenge, so that you finish in time, then go back later and fill in the empty space (if you're struggling for time, that is). I'd love to see the full thing completed at this level of detail. It would be amazing! Just don't do a J.Edward and turn it into a year-long Haerlech project!!

In my humble opinion I don't think you need to worry about details at all, it's already super detailed.

I love that when you zoom out it doesn't look cluttered to the eyes, it just looks like a city. I find that sometimes with (especially black and white) city maps that zoomed out feels cluttered to the eyes.

Great job with this so far.

Don't know how I managed to miss this, especially since I was going to do the Eiffel tower for my entry to the challenge. Guess I'm gonna have to think again, but mine was going to be sci-fi, so we'll see...

Great start by the way though!

, I may continue it after the challenge (especially if it's not finished in my opinion), but i do not have J.Edward's patience.

I would gladly see your sci-fi Eiffel tower. Even if I mapped all the size of my paper texture, it wouldn't be on it anyway, so you're absolutely not redondant.

Looking really good so far! Whenever I hear Lutetia, I can't help thinking of Astrix!
Ouch, it's Lutetia in english ... too late, I'll keep Lutece, I think. And well... I won't draw Asterix on this map, sorry !

    A small update
