Er... yeah. As the person who put the idea in Wolfgang's head to get a color map: I apologize. I didn't think he'd go to you and ask for a color turnaround in two days; I was just curious is he had a colorized version.

It's a beautiful map, though. You should be very proud.

Ah ha! So you're the culprit. I'm really pleased with how it turned out - and you know that it's always worth being pushed so I'm glad that you did.

Great job on this map Torstan. I have been considering subscribing to Kobold Quarterly for a while now, and your map may just be what wins me over.

    Cheers,

Well that map's not actually in KQ - it's in a supplement created by Open Design who are the team behind KQ. So you don't get the cassedega map with KQ. However you do get my sunken ship's graveyard in the current edition and I seem to have a map in most (or at least 1 from 2) KQs so you'll see a good few of my maps if you do.

No problem. I just wanted to make sure that you didn't sign up and then be disappointed. It is a great magazine though - and certainly worth the subscription price.

And there's another article up on KQ about the making of this map:

The building of Cassadega and the sinking of Ankeshel

They asked me a few questions about the progress of the map and I went through the details of it as well as providing an in-progress map of the original city that lies in ruins beneath the current day Cassedega.
