Oh I love those pointy mountains (kind of a Sagrada Familia vibe for some). Have you considered shading them with maybe an overlay layer à la Max ?

Thanks, I tried some variations for those mountains. And shading is planned, I'm just not there yet... and I would love to be able to do it like Max!

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! Well, I have done Vodya & the Batikshal Empire... So I still have to do 9 other countries after Safrân (not to mention the other worlds of Egishirgal : map of the 7 worlds here).
I will certainly do the Shardom Empyron in a not-so-far future.

Thanks a lot! I will try to do the Shardom Empyron soon. The rest... probably after a few other maps !

This is quite amazing work. I'm loving those forests!

There's four things I love about this map:

1. the landforms are great - they look natural and plausible, nothing is out of this land or even out of proportion
2. the hatching is first class - best in the guild, I dare to say
3. the jungle is really well made - that's jungle, isnt' it?
4. the whole map has a particular style that blends it all so well - if personality goes a long way, this map's personality takes you all the way

Actually, everything is developing so well, this is on its way to become a masterpiece. Make sure you finish it before the end of the year, so I can nominate it to the Atlas awards !!

I love how furry your forests/jungles are. It is a wilder look than the typical puffy/billowy perspective forest expanses.

What with all the nicely rendered perspective elements, the river crossing that cliff straight down from Shardom could maybe profit from an outright pictorial waterfall?

@ ChickPea : thanks, CP ! I'm glad you like it. There are less forest diversity than in the Batikshal Empire, but well, I quite like those jungles too.

@ Pixie : wow, thanks for the praise, Pixie ! My Batikshal Empire is from this year too, I think. I hope to finish this one before december. If my other wip goes well, I may start the Shardom Empyron in december, but it's bigger and will probably require more tests (a lot of different deserts in this one).

@Jbgibson : thanks, and yup, you're right about that waterfall. I'm gonna add it .

OK, a bit more. Apart from a few ships/illustrations for the seas/oceans (and the waterfall), I think I've finished the drawings.
