Awesome, that is going into the bag of tricks.
Thanks
Everything looks great ...
except...
Those waves really are huge for such a small stream and such a small pond.

I must agree with Mark with regards to the waves. I think perhaps they'd work being slightly more subtle too. Otherwise yes, the rest of the map looks great.
Thanks for the advice Mark and Larb. It took about 6 attempts, but I figured out a way to make the waves smaller without having to redo the whole thing.
I also started adding some trees.
How does the lake look now?

Looks neat
You might consider re-visiting the road to blend it in with the surrounding terrain. Right now, I think the edges are too smooth.
Plus, the paths fall short and end in curves when they come to the buildings.
But I think adding detail is one of your strengths, and that's why your maps are so interesting.
Keep up the great work
The best maps are the ones we like the most after looking at the longest.
Thanks guys, I did work on the road edges and finished adding trees and some other details. Might be done, might still tweak it a little more.

Wow this looks really nice!!
I love your waterfall and the (is it a mill?) With the water wheel! So much detail!! You even put a fallen tree at the top of the river.
Your trees make me jealous.
What's that circle of stones in the top right? Half finished building? Old ruins? MAGIC POWER CIRCLE? lol. It's lovely.
Thanks Jalyha. For me the area in the upper right is old ruins, who knows what is beneath them, but they could be what ever you want them to be.

I was figuring it was ruins. I like this sort of map with all the little details... makes it fun to look at, and no symbols to confuse my brain. I don't know what that means from a map-making perspective, but I really like it.
