    Hey Josiah

You've created the illusion of a hill with that round arrangement of buildings (unless its just me who can see it)

    How you do that?

    Looking good

Really? Hm. I don't see it.
I had the sketch layer and sketch shading layer on low opacity underneath, so it might have something to do with that.
    Thanks!

Here's another update. Progress still slow. I imagine it will be quite a while before I finish this, especially if I go on with colour and shade. Maybe it's good to have a long ongoing project like this I think.
I took a break from drawing the buildings and did a quick rendition of the little side view of a temple which I had in the sketch. I might end up redrawing it.

Nice I like the illo for the underground market.
I will have to get a bit more done on mine before I can work with you on coordinating the evil underground stuff.

This is coming on really fast now, Josiah. Nice work with the sketch there

The whole city should really have an underground several levels deep, a bit like Derinkuyu, in Turkey. That's carved out of soft volcanic rock, but we have ready made caves in our limestone karst that we would only need to modify.

And we have even more reason to have ancient underground catacombs. There are far too many really dangerous creatures on Guildworld (if I've been browsing the Guildworld threads correctly) - including giants and dragons!

Thanks! I'm sorry, illo? What's an illo?
Yeah, I'm not ready to start the evil underground stuff either.

    Thanks Mouse!
Hmm. That would actually be pretty neat. I'll think about it.

    Sorry - illustration [illo]
I got in the bad habit of saying that, as many clients use that as a shortened way of typing it.

Hi again all! And thank you for the positive feedback.
Here is an update finally!! I've been busy doing other stuff and other maps, but I've finally got a chance to work on it a bit. Just more linework around the castle. It's coming along slowly.
