I love the relief and the strong yet somehow subtle colors.

I love the colours in this. They're so striking and quite dramatic! The contrast between the land and the dark, dark seas is very appealing to me. The compass looks good and is well-placed too, adding interest in an otherwise empty area. I think my only nitpick would be that some of the labels get a little lost against the background, particularly in the snowy & desert areas. In some ways, I rather like that the labels aren't prominent, because it lets the landscape have all the attention, but, well, it is a map after all and I feel the labels should stand out. So, I dunno?!
