Well I got the second pass of Mountain shadows done, now on to highlights. I also started the inner coastal details and fussed with the colors a bit. I'm not too terribly happy with the way I shaded the cliffs and I'm still not sold on the colour of the water...Let me know what you think.

Great to see you jumping right into the next project Kacey! It looks wonderful already. I actually like the way you shaded the cliffs a lot. The darker shades right beneath the edge of the cliffs accentuates them very nicely and gives a lot of depth to the landscape in my view. For the sea, maybe just darken the (multiply?) layer a bit to give it more contrast?
The knotted border and the corner elements look absolutely spectacular btw., and fit the style of the map perfectly! Thanks for sharing your inspiring work!

Your map is really looking great Kacey! I also love the border and the mountains.
For the water, maybe try just a hint of dark blue instead of the flat grey.
