    Wow...amazing stuff. I am immediately adding "Cartographic Relief Presentation" and "Principles of Cartography" to my wish list.

    I must have missed this first time around. Yes a definite must read. Very clear instruction with good / poor contrasting diagrams to show where and why to put labels down. I'll rep if I am able.

    Where and how to place names on a map is one of the main areas I struggle with and worry about, so this is a fantastic find. I'll be printing this guide off and having a good read through it all.

    I read this article and made some notes. Basically it's a 2 page summarised version containing the basic points. I left out the last couple of sections after Areal Designations as I figured I already covered the main points/points that would be useful for me. If anybody is interested I've attached a PDF version of my summary.
