Looks as though the thumbnail scraper is working now, however, it appears to be picking up the wrong map for Master TMO's entry. Don't know if that will (or has already) effect voting, but thought I would mention it just in case the scraper is still having a problem.

Holy moley, that's not just the wrong entry (as in a previous wip) it's another map altogether. Unfortunately I have no idea how arcane things like scrapers work, but I'm sure it will be sorted out soon. (I hope!).

How has nobody voted for Compound Interest yet?

    So much originality.

    Tough choices.

I loved Greason Wolfe's. It really looks like you're looking at some computer terminal at NASA, with all the windows, and different data being displayed.

I also liked Hai-Etlik. Crisp, clear, and I like how there is no wasted space. Every part of the image has something of some relevance without feeling too cluttered.

After some thinking I chose Greel and Greason. Hai was also there in terms of professionalism but "I like the pretty colors". If there were different voting criteria I could have picked 2 other maps. You all did a really great job.

You are now one of my favorite people! My very first challenge vote!

And I have no idea where that map came from. It's nothing of mine. Maybe because I put the images in a subfolder? I doubt it's affected the voting, as the link in the first post is to the correct WIP, and the thumbs weren't working until just now.

Assuming I stick with fantasy cartography, I'd like to become a World Builder, laying out not only a realistic topography, but also the geopolitical boundaries and at least rough descriptions of the countries and societies.

I have no experiences with Sci-Fi maps. Though my opinion is not representative, but I voted for Greel and tilt, because those pics remind me of Elite, Freelancer and the X-series. Well done to all!

That was a well-deserved win, Greel. Bravo!
