    That was all done in Wilbur. Just a matter of selecting a few circles and rectangles then applying mound and selection operators and looking at the result in the 3D preview. I probably spent an hour or so total during lunch so it wasn't exactly a quick operation, I will admit.

    looks nice... its all those roofs and towers that takes time ... I'm going with a flat map I think

    Argh, Waldronate was faster. I also try to make a city like that. This is my first try and if I get better results, I will enter.

    @tilt: the picture was rendered with Bryce, an easy to use renderer (if you understand the weird interface). The buildings are a heightmap with a standard texture on it.
