I was absolutely sure the Islands of the Sleepy Dragon would remain my favorite map of the year, and... this ?! Such a serious challenger, and now I have to edit my letter to Santa ^_^
It's a marvel, J. Or another one. I love absolutely everything, from the colors to the details, from the laughting sea serpent, to the graphic trees. And this stunning border, of course !

The color is sort of a cross between trying to mimic watercolor and the old styles I used to see with fairytale maps.

Oh, this relates to the Skenara map, as well as Haldeshar, Alknoar, Trolnarm, Midgeon, and a few other maps and images.
All are set in the world of Nhyn setting, which can be seen together over on DA.

Are we gonna get to see all of these maps and illustrations put together one day? I'd love to see a picture that connects all these fantastic places...

You might have gone a bit over the top with the leaves but they're beautiful ! As is the whole map, of course, even if in your case, beautiful always seems not enough.
