Thanks! I'm a little unsure of how the photoshop portion of the work is going to go, but I'm feeling pretty good about the pencil work.

Really nice! I like the picture where you bent the edge upwards! That's an interesting perspective!

This is amazingly done! I love the "authentic" feel of the map - hardcore pencil on paper. Your mountains are great, your trees are exquisite and the few rivers you already have look really nice, and for the time being without any bifurcation errors or the like! Great job, and keep 'em coming!

Last picture before the scan. Wondering what people think of the general shape. I'm generally happy with it, but much happier if I look at the map in sections. Also, up in the northeast, how does the fjord area look? I've received some mixed feedback on that particular area. Thanks!

Well I had to give up on the work in pencil for the time being, so this is where I left off:

But I got some help with the coloring and overlays and ended up with this:

I'm working on adding names and such. Next I'm going to crop the map for each nation, fade the borders and add more details and labels. Any advice going forward would be appreciated.

This is one amazing project, I like it a lot. I like the concept of the Frosthorn mountains and the rivers in between. But I feel that the coloring took away too much detail in the mountains, seeing them in the pencil one and then checking the same mountains in the colored one. Still, its an amazing work and I´m looking forward to see more if it!

Hi gtwucla, this is coming together extremely well! Like the subtle coloring a lot and the shading looks very good. Also great to see the filled in trees are working out that well. As you mentioned yourself, some more details in the "plains&desert" middle part of the map would be nice, because it looks a bit empty compared to the rest. looking forward to see more. Keep up the great work!
    Cheers,
