    drunken monkey style.. yep... gotta have that

    I would say that DnD style is for instance Mike Schleys Forgotten Realms look - really nice
    Board game style would be hex styled maps with repeating elements

    and good initiative

    Then of course, there is the NeonKnight Miniature Battlemap Style. Aesthetically pleasing, but not overly fancy, suitable for an evening's game of D&D/Miniature battles.

    NeonKnight - I'd be happy to include it if it is really a style distinctive from the ones listed, or an excellent example of one of those styles--link to your best work?

    Proper D&D style is in non-photo blue and maps a dungeon, by gods!
