looking good, are you going to add some playing pieces - or notes on the rules? ... Maybe a logo for the different factions

Here's an update. I've added in a few icons for each of the Tribes and I'm working on placing some counters around the map.
    C&C as usual...

As far as game mechanics goes, I'm thinking of diving into the GMT-Card-Based games style. I'd be happy to have rules collaborators for that, but atm I'm just making it look pretty for this contest.

What are your thoughts with the neighborhood colorations? does that reveal starting and neutral areas? Also, what happened to Sir Galahad in your sig?

The browns are all "neutral" spaces. The brighter coloured spaces are "starting/home" spaces. I'm yet to really determine the longer term mechanics of owning areas of the board. I'm tempted to make it extra hand-size or similar.

Here's another WIP... more markers, more of the icons, etc.

Considering the medium Jugg, have you considered putting your "extra" stuff above and/or below the actual map? As it is, your map may be too compressed to display well on the gallery screens.

Sure, new stuff that gets added will probably "square it up"
Particularly if I add rules or cards or other pieces. I'll just start by adjusting the boundaries and adding within that space.

Ahem. You *are* going to make all of this available after the competition, aren't you? I love weird little games. You should add complete rules and pack it up into a little pocket-sized box and sell it. Looks cool so far!

    Mearrin,
If/When this is finished and I can guarantee I haven't trodden on the copyright/IP of any major company with enough cash and attitude to sue what little I have away from me... SURE!

Just need to make sure I don't tread on copyright. I think it will turn up on BoardGameGeek and maybe through a friend of mine who is running a small boardgame enterprise.

Had a busy weekend: parents moving stuff into my garage, weddings, writing topic tests on coordinate geometry for 14-year olds (whatever grade they are in your part of the park).
