    Love those mountains!

Onwards with the mapping, Mr Cereth!

Got some more work done on this now that I'm back from my trip to Niagara Falls. While I was gone I did manage to get some more mountains drawn in my sketchbook and those are also all scanned and ready to use.

There are a couple points where mountains seem to abruptly end when following them north, giving my eye an awkward feel. But that is in the blown up view. Other than that beautiful work!

This is just beautiful, cereth. Very very pretty.

Just a couple of opinions/suggestions: the definition on the towns/cities seems a little less than that of the mountains; makes the cities seem oddly blurred. The trees are also hard to see against the mountains - is there a way to make their outline(s) just a little sharper without compromising the overall look of the map?

I had to reduce the sizes of the cities after I scanned them in to make them fit scale wise. I see what you mean and I'll play around with them some.

Wow Cereth! This is looking amazing. I have been trying to find a way to create my own world map for a gaming campaign I want to run and this style is absolutely beautiful. Anyway you might be willing to let us know how you have done it? And any suggestions on doing something like this myself? Keep it up. Can't wait to see the finished product!

I increased the contrast on the cities and the trees. I think they both stand out a little more and match the mountains better. I also "grunged" up the border a bit...not sure if I'll keep it that bway or not.

Put another 5 hours or so into this this morning. I grunged up the border with a splatter brush on the eraser.
