    I know it's been a while, but thanks for all of the comments. I agree that advances is computer technology can do a lot to help artists, although I don't consider myself an artist. The map generator was designed to be a creative muse for authors trying to get ideas for a book. It can also be helpful if you need ideas for land shapes or region names.

    I have continued to work on the map generator in my free time. I made it into a Java app which you can download for free. It is named "Nortantis", which is a name it generated. If you want to try it, you can find it here. It is an open source project, so you can also get the source code if you want it.
