    Now, the City is nearly completed. In th next days I will bring this to photoshop and start the final map...

    so here my first real photoshop experiments.... I´m not to happy with it at the moment, and I´ll look up some good tutorials first...
    Any tips or ideas so far?

    Thank you very much,

    but there are some points, I´ll focus on, f.e. will I invert the light and dark color for landmasses and water, work on a better texture for the paper and I need an effect to emphasize the coastlines. a special texture with small horizontal lines, as I´ve seen at many maps here. The final map will reduce the build up areas to shaded blocks, because for this map it´s not necessary to see the single building (except those of greater importance). Your comments encourage me to finish this map soon
