Although there was recently a discussion in another thread about this you can check out, I suggest you don't end a river in a lake. Except for "closed seas" like the Great Salt Lake and the Dead Sea, rivers all have outlets that eventually run to the sea.

Should another river run from a lake into the ocean?

Yes, each lake needs an outlet river (exactly one) that runs downhill from it. That river may run into another lake, or clear to the sea.
