Decided to run with the OS style map look - still not sure about it though. Started adding woods. Might cut down on the amount of green when I add the legend etc. Also need to add more outer buildings.

Added a location key. Still have all the out-buildings to do and a few other bits and bobs. Was looking to create some vector swirls for the top and side of the number key but I'm finind it really hard to do in gimp... not found a great tutorial yet.

    Thanks J.E!

I'm just going through the outbuildings at the moment - needed a weeks break from staring at the small stripes!

Hi F. Abu. Taking a look at your map, nice work by the way, I noticed the french flavour of the names. Are you happy with them as they are or would you welcome a few improvements from a native french speaker?

Yeah to be honest some of them I took from actual French words and some I just made up as I'm sure you can tell. The conjugation is what most bothers me - knowing when to use 'De' or 'Du' for example.

Any input from you would be great!

Here is an up to date version with all the names in...

Hey, really liking the style here. Just one thing coming to mind, really. I see wide roads and really skinny roads. There don't seem to be any in between. Is there an explanation for it that I'm ignorant of or just something you didn't think of?

Can't wait to see it finished.

You make a good point - that is some good feedback.

Do you think this makes a difference? (only done the middle btw)

I think that looks really good. You could probably even keep some of the really narrow roads. Perhaps as alleyways?
