Hi Kats! Welcome to the Guild.

That's a very pretty map you've made and I like your colour palette a lot. Can only echo others' comments about the glow on the labelling needing a little work, but you're off to a great start with your mapping.

Have you decided which region you're going to work on first? Looking forward to seeing you develop your world.

As a fellow roleplayer and worldbuilder, i approve of this thread

Welcome to the Guild! And i agree with what has been said. A very fine color scheme and i love the mountains quite a bit. Very much looking forward to more detailed regional maps!

I'm really glad that I actually seem to be getting some constructive feedback from these forums at least! The worldbuilding subreddit is kind of a free-for-all with comments and hardly anything is actual feedback.

Also, I plan on doing the region map for Mombasi first, since it's where the central human empire resides and where my players will most likely start.

Alright! Just updated the map in a few days. I wanted to change some of the names around so it wasn't quite so Clichestan, severely reduced the opacity of the glow, just something ever-so soft and bolstered the text outlines. I also changed the text shapes into general arcs so it gave a little more flow to the map instead of being just off text floating above the map in a hazy glow.
