You have every right to disagree, everyone likes diferent styles . Still i would love to see some Akae's work with texture less visible.

I think this is beautiful. The background texture works for me as a border and gives the whole map a vignette effect. There is a real sense of depth the way the buildings appear to pop out from the flat background.
